When I stopped drinking altogether in November 2020, it followed several periods of being alcohol-free.


Drinking had slowly become more of an emotional crutch than something social or fun. My mental health was already suffering. When I finally reached out for support and began learning how to care for myself better, I realized alcohol wasn’t helping—it was actually making things harder.
